Elena Burdova is the Head Coach and Program Director of the Summer Training Camp, with over 16 years of professional coaching experience.
Throughout her career, Elena has prepared numerous high-level athletes who became members of regional rhythmic gymnastics teams in Russia, one of the most competitive systems in the world.
After working with original regional teams in Russia, Elena continued her professional career in the United States, where she has been coaching for four years. During this time, her gymnasts became members of U.S. regional rhythmic gymnastics teams for two consecutive seasons, demonstrating consistent high-level results and successful adaptation of elite methodologies to the American sports system.
Elena holds a higher education degree in physical education and sport and is a certified instructor of the Vaganova Ballet Method — a world-renowned classical ballet system that develops posture, strength, artistry, and total-body movement quality. She integrates Vaganova principles directly into gymnastics preparation.
Her coaching philosophy combines technical precision, physical intelligence, artistry, and athlete well-being, creating results that last beyond one season.
